About this blog
“Anxious and Unstoppable” was born from determination. It was made because I decided that even with anxiety, I was going to live the life I wanted to live.
I started this blog as a place for positive, relatable, and encouraging discussions about social anxiety and other mental health issues. My hope is that my words will resonate with others dealing with mental illness, like a friend saying, “Me, too.” More than that, I hope I can help inspire ideas for positive change and encourage you that it is possible to live well with mental illness. For those not dealing with mental illness, my hope is that you find this blog enlightening and helpful. Everyone is welcome here.
About the blogger
I am a young Navy wife who’s crazy in love with my husband, enjoying being a “fur mom” to my shepherd and lab mix, and striving to learn and grow daily to better myself and love others well. I have struggled with social anxiety for the majority of my life, and I know what it’s like to wonder if you’ll ever be able to lead some sort of “normal life” with mental illness. My goal is to share the things I’ve learned on how to get to a place where you can not just survive, but thrive with mental illness.
